Home Cooking with Jess – Stuffed Mushrooms

Making tailgate spreads is how I get ready for the Steelers games on Sundays. It’s our tradition. I make 4-6 appetizers. Some are more time consuming than others.  Natally comes for all of the games and she always texts me to see what she needs to pick up at the grocery store that I don’t have. I asked what she was thinking and she said “something else with sausage,” and since the queso sausage dip  is a staple, I tried to thing is something else I could throw together quickly. I had mushrooms, so I decided to stuff the mushrooms with sausage.  Natally accidentally picked up sage sausage, and it ended up being a really nice combo.  I have made sausage party balls with bisquick and cheese and those are awesome.  But who doesn’t love a quick two ingredient app?
