Ohio County, WV – A portion of Interstate 470 westbound, will have the right lane closed, from milepost 1.0 to milepost 0.0, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., on Monday, August 25, 2025, and Tuesday, August 26, 2025, for bridge maintenance. Also, the Exit 1 on ramp will be closed. Work is being done at night to minimize the impact on the traveling public.
Traffic directors and message boards will be used to direct traffic. Motorists are advised to slow down and follow detours.
Also, the Interstate 470 westbound on ramp, in Wheeling, from US 250/WV 2, will be closed, beginning at 6:00 a.m., on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, through mid-October 2025, for bridge maintenance. Motorists are advised to slow down and follow detour signs.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
