A portion of Interstate 70 eastbound, will have alternating lane closures, at the Wheeling Tunnel, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, and Thursday, October 17, 2024, for tunnel maintenance. The Market Street on-ramp will also be closed during this time. Motorists are advised to slow down, use alternate routes, and expect delays.
Alternate Routes: Use US 40 westbound or US 40 to Interstate 70.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
