Moundsville, WV – The Marshall County Health Department has received confirmation of 11 new positive cases and 9 new probable cases. The Health Department continues to work on investigations and contact tracing for current active cases.
Due to potential delays in reporting to all state level resources, the Marshall County Health Department recommends everyone to obtain current total numbers from the WVDHHR COVID 19 dashboard website, https://dhhr.wv.gov/COVID-19/Pages/default.aspx.
Walk in COVID 19 Vaccinations for first and second doses are available at the Health Department Monday through Friday 9am – 11am and 1pm – 3pm.
Due to logistical issues this week, our next Pfizer booster clinic will be scheduled for Tuesday,
October 5, 2021 at the Marshall County Fairgrounds from 10am – 3pm. This will again be a drive through clinic for safety. As with last week, wait times may exceed 1 hour at these drive through style clinics. If you do not want to possibly wait, we encourage anyone to seek out a booster vaccine through their local pharmacy.
