Marshall County Health Department to Ramp Up Testing

-

Mass testing will take place today and tomorrow in Marshall County, according to Mark Ackermann of the Marshall County Health Department.

Ackermann said the department was informed this morning that Marshall County has bumped up to “orange” status because of the number of positive COVID-19 tests recorded this week. A total of 16 positive tests were registered Monday, the most of any county in the Northern Panhandle for a single day since testing began in late March.

The health department issued the following press release this morning:

Marshall County Health Department will begin community COVID testing immediately, beginning at 12:00pm today through 6:00pm tonight. Testing will be conducted on Court Street outside the Marshall County Health Department.

We will also be conducting testing on 10/15/2020 from 10:00am – 6:00pm.

This is due to Marshall County going orange on the state map.
