Mitchell Plant Employees Sponsoring Blessing Box in Marshall County

The Mitchell Plant has received an AEP Caring Together mini-grant to secure a Blessing Box installed at Washington Lands Elementary School in Marshall County in partnership with Marshall County Schools and the Marshall County Family Resource Network.

The Blessing Boxes are filled with non-perishable goods for community members to take as needed.

Residents are encouraged to take what they need and share what they can. Marshall County Blessing Boxes are located at Cameron Elementary, Central Elementary, John Marshall High School, Sand Hill Elementary School, Moundsville City Building, East End Park, Riverfront Park, Mt. Olivet Church, St. James Church in McMechen. Mitchell Plant employees will be partnering with the Marshall County Family Resource Network to stock the box.
