Murray Stafford’s Weather Forecast for March 17th-23rd

-

Monday 03/17/2025

Expect temperatures to be cooler as the winds will be out of the Northwest. Cloudy skies in the morning will give way to mostly sunny skies by the afternoon. Expect highs to be in the 40’s.

Tuesday 03/18/2025

By Tuesday the winds will shift to out of the Southwest. This will cause temperatures to warm with highs in the upper 60’s. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of us break the 70 degree mark. But, the air from the South will also be more humid. So, expect cloud cover to increase throughout the day.

Wednesday 03/19/2025

A strong Low Pressure system will be approaching from the West. As the system approaches expect strong winds to develop. But, with the winds out of the South, temperatures will go up even more. Highs could reach into the upper 70’s. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of us have our first 80 degree day on Wednesday. By Wednesday afternoon rain from the system will enter western Ohio. As temperatures rise Thunderstorms could develop, and, some of them could be severe. The storm could continue into the evening and overnight hours.

Thursday 03/20/2025

The Low will be moving off to our Northeast. Behind the Low, the winds will shift to out of the North, pulling much colder air into our area, resulting in the possibility of Snow Showers and Flurries Thursday morning. Temperatures will be much cooler with highs reaching only into the mid 50’s. Once the Sun goes down it will quickly cool off. Temperatures overnight will be in the mid 20’s Lake Effect Snow Showers and Flurries could continue through Friday morning. Very little, if any, Snow accumulation is expected.

Friday 03/21/2025 – The First Full Day of Spring!

The winds will once again shift to out of the Southwest. This will allow warmer (and more humid) air to move back into our area. Once the Sun comes up temperatures will quickly jump into the 50’s. But, with another Low approaching from the West, expect the sky to remain fairly cloudy.

Saturday 03/22/2025

The winds will continue to be out of the Southwest. This will allow us to warm up into the upper 50’s by afternoon. Some of us might hit 60 degrees. A weak Low will cross over our area which means it will be fairly cloudy with chances of Rain late in the day and overnight through Sunday.

Sunday 03/23/2025

Another Low approaching from the West will keep our skies cloudy and temperatures will be seasonable in the 50’s. Chances of Rain will increase through the afternoon and into Monday morning.
