National Equipment Co. (National Equipment), one of West Virginia’s leading food service equipment and suppliers, is excited to announce the relocation of its headquarters to a new, state-of-the-art facility in the Elm Grove neighborhood of Wheeling, WV.
This move marks an exciting new chapter for the company and reflects its ongoing commitment to growth and enhanced customer service. The relocation is the result of a partnership with the City of Wheeling. It positions National Equipment to better serve its expansive customer base, both residential and commercial while remaining within the City of Wheeling’s limits as the company has since 1945.
Jade Waligura, National Equipment President, said the move is exciting, though leaving its longstanding location at 14th and Water Streets is bittersweet.
“The relocation represents a significant investment in our future and will certainly enable us to better serve our customers with improved facilities and expanded capabilities,” Waligura said. “As we move forward with excitement and ambition, we’ll always cherish our many years of operations in downtown Wheeling and vow to maintain the values that have allowed us to persevere for nearly eight decades.”
National Equipment and Elm Terrace Holdings LLC (Elm Terrace) have agreed to construction terms on a section of the existing parking lot within the Elm Terrace Shopping Center. The new facility will consist of 6,700 square feet of retail and office space and will feature a state-of-the-art test kitchen which will be the first of its kind in the State of West Virginia.
National Equipment Vice President Mike Swann formally joined the team in 1990 and has been instrumental in his family business’s perseverance.
