OCS Superintendent Makes Statement Following WPHS Evacuation

-

Today, we received a concerning phone call and message that prompted us to move Wheeling Park High School to a code yellow at approximately 11:00 am.  With an abundance of caution, we decided it was best to evacuate Wheeling Park High School.  Students and staff safely evacuated the building and the building was cleared and deemed safe.

With a great team effort between law enforcement, administration, and cooperative students and parents we were able to evacuate smoothly and swiftly.  We are working diligently with law enforcement to locate the person responsible for this threat.

Dr. Kim Miller
