6/16 Community Update

BOE: The BOE has seen extensive damage. We are working rapidly to relocate for the time being. Once we are set up, we will make sure our community is aware. For school related concerns, if you do not know your party’s email, please message on here or email kbutyn@k12.wv.us and Mrs. Butyn will get you to the person you need.

NUTRITION: Warwood, Madison, and Woodsdale are offering lunch today from 11:30-12:30. Other locations won’t be available due to roads/power outages. We encourage any child that just needs out of the house and some camaraderie to come visit us for a warm meal.

SCHOOL: All high school summer sessions are closed in person today. Mrs. Dailer released an all-call with additional information. Speech and Debate Camp will resume tomorrow. Grief counseling is available. We’ll work to post a tentative schedule today.

COMMUNITY: Elm Grove Elementary will be opened from 8-12. They have clothing, pet supplies, bedding, food, water, and various products. If willing to donate, they can use more cleaning supplies, paper products, pet supplies, and infant supplies. The Giving Tree store, in the annex behind TMS, will be opened from 10-12. They are stocked with a wide variety of child, teen, and adult clothing, shoes, and bedding.
