Ohio Valley Jaycees Charitable Fund Accepting Grant Applications

-

The Ohio Valley Jaycees Charitable Fund is now accepting applications from local nonprofits to receive a grant of up to $10,000. The fund is administered by the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley.

The donor-advised fund’s board will review applications and make a grant recommendation to the CFOV. Organizations must provide services in Ohio or Marshall counties in West Virginia and/or Belmont County in Ohio to be eligible.

The fund was established in 2022 after the local Jaycees chapter disbanded after 40 years of service. In 2023, the inaugural grant of $10,000 was awarded to A Special Wish Foundation – Ohio Valley Chapter to grant wishes for children under the age of 21 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening disorder.

For more information, go to JayceesFund.org. Grant applications are being accepted until May 24.
