OV Mutual Aid Moves Location to Toy & Train Museum

-

With the recent devastating localized flash floods – taking 6 lives, hundreds displaced, and countless homes devastated – OV Mutual Aid is responding alongside our whole Wheeling-Ohio Valley community.

OVMA is focusing on offering Mud Out assistance – digging flood mud out of sidewalks, basements, buildings & homes. We are collecting donations, supplies and coordinating volunteers for our Mud Out effort at our new Elm Grove Headquarters on Kruger Street.

We are listed in the WV Emergency Management Division’s VOAD system.

VOLUNTEERS ARE OUR LARGEST NEED NOW AND FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE.

To receive assistance or sign up to volunteer fill out this OVMA Flood Cleanup Form, and the VOAD survey.

Donations to support this flood relief effort can be made at: OVMA Donation Link
To support other critical flood relief efforts – like food, clothing, shelter, child care – connect with the Ohio County Family Resource Network’s emergency response network.

OVMA also wants to offer a sincere appreciation to our local and state emergency first responders and the Family Resource Network & local nonprofits who are doing a tremendous job coordinating these emergency response efforts.
