WHEELING, W.Va. — September 10, 2025 — Wheeling Heritage and the Wheeling Artisan Center Shop called on artists of all levels to submit artwork for a pewter ornament for the 2025 holiday season, featuring Wheeling’s historic Suspension Bridge. The submissions showcase the creativity of local artists and celebrate one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
Four finalist designs have been selected, and now the public is invited to help choose the winning design. Voting is open through Sunday, September 21.

The finalized ornament will be cast in pewter and sold exclusively at the Wheeling Artisan Center Shop, helping to further Wheeling Heritage’s mission of supporting local artisans and small business — two key pillars in strengthening creativity and economic growth in the community.
