Free, two-location event set for Aug. 5 in Charleston and Wheeling
CHARLESTON AND WHEELING, W.Va. — The 2026 Regional Disability Resource Fair will bring people with disabilities, families, caregivers, advocates, service providers and community members together for direct access to information and local support.
The free event will be held Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Job Squad Inc., 1418 MacCorkle Ave. SW in Charleston, and The Seeing Hand Association, 750 Main St. in Wheeling.
Visitors can meet participating organizations, ask questions and learn about services, supports, programs and opportunities available across the region. The fair also gives partner organizations a shared space to strengthen referrals, build relationships and make resources easier to find.

The two-city format is designed to make participation more convenient for residents and organizations in different parts of West Virginia. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.

About the Hosts:
- The West Virginia Association for Disability Employment (WVADE) is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to expanding meaningful employment opportunities for West Virginians with disabilities. WVADE provides advocacy, employer education, workforce development resources, and collaboration with service providers and policymakers to remove barriers, promote inclusive hiring practices, and advance economic independence for people with disabilities across the state.
- The West Virginia Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (WVARF) WVARF is a non-profit organization that handles service and commodity contracts for non-profit Community Rehabilitation Programs (CRPs) that participate in the State Use Program. These CRPs from all across the state provide employment and other services to persons with various disabilities. These services include vocational evaluation, training, extended employment, job placement, supported employment and follow up consultation. The primary goal of WVARF and its participating CRPs is to enhance vocational opportunities and provide a stronger quality of life for individuals with disabilities within the state.
