WHEELING, W.VA. – A portion of Reid Avenue will be temporarily closed next week for the Greenwood Storm Sewer Improvement Project.
Beginning Monday, March 9, Reid Avenue will be closed from its intersection with Nottaway Drive through the remainder of the street to allow crews to complete storm sewer work. Construction will take place daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Friday, March 13, although weather or unforeseen circumstances could impact the project schedule.
Emergency access will be maintained throughout the project. Residents are encouraged to park on Nottaway Drive during construction hours. City officials appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation as these important infrastructure improvements are completed.
