Medieval cartographers would adorn the uncharted and believed-to-be dangerous areas with illustrations of dragons and other mythological creatures.
They would notate these areas with “hic sunt dracones” in a flourishing script, Latin for “Here be Dragons’.
Half a millennia of further exploration has taught us that although the dragons don’t exist, there are dangerous areas, not only on our globe but in human relations and in politics.
We are watching the Trump 47 Administration act with breathtaking speed. One of the great things about the “Developer in Chief” is that he learns from mistakes and the mistakes or others. He learns quickly and adjusts accordingly. He’s leading the charge to move swiftly, establishing a coordinated front at the federal, bureaucratic and state level.
They are also finding “land mines” left by the Biden administration. The Left hoped that they could create sufficient carnage that would stop the progress of what the American people want.
Unknown dangers. Here Be dragons.
There are legal challenges to about everything we asked our President to accomplish for us. If I were to draw a legislative map, there would have to be unknown areas with “Here be Dragons” clearly marked. Remember that “Here be Dragons” didn’t stop explorers, just as they won’t stop the Trump 47 Administration.
Pragmatism went out the window when we learned that the brats on the Left were sneakily forcing their will on the American people. We the people are not pleased.
This sophomoric attempt by Biden and his cronies to make us knuckle under (because they firmly believe that they know better) will not be successful, and they are going to suffer the repercussions of an electorate that is angry as hell. I was party to a discussion about how legislation was “cooked” under the previous administration, and how having it do things they wanted to accomplish was only part of the process.
The other part was setting it up so that if it were overturned, they would have something that seemed to be egregious to vocally complain about.
We have learned that the Left does not have many compunctions when it comes to distorting the truth. They are so desperate to foist their socialist vision of America that they think lying is not only acceptable but necessary.
Here Be Dragons.
I’m confident that the Trump 47 Administration will move with all possible speed. Our President is implementing the will of the American people. There will be unknown challenges. There will be dragons. They will be rooted out and slayed accordingly.
I hope that a crystal-clear message is sent that this kind of perversion of our constitutional system is patently unacceptable and will not be tolerated in the future. What was done over the past four years is not healthy for our Republic.
Dragons be damned – onward.
