St. Clairsville Chamber to Present ‘Legend of Santa Claus’

The St. Clairsville Area Chamber of Commerce presents “The legend of Santa Clause: A series of stories depicting how Santa Clause came to exist from ancient times through today” Hear Santa discuss Saint Nicholas, Santa in Europe, Santa’s arrival in America and the development of Santa’s image through time up to Santa’s character today in 2022.

“The Legend of Santa” will be presented at the Ohio University Eastern, Shannon Hall Theater on Saturday, November 5th at 7:30 pm and on November 6th at a 3 pm matinee. Tickets prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students of all ages. The show is recommended for families and children seven and older.

Santa will share stories about the elves, his reindeer and Christmas traditions in America and throughout the world. He’ll answer questions like “what’s Santa’s favorite cookie”? How you can use your individual talents to make Christmas a more joyous and fulfilling time of the year.

Santa will be available for pictures with families following the 1-hour program. Pictures are free with the price of admission, so bring you cameras and capture a photo with Old Saint Nick.

The show is presented by the St. Clairsville Area Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Ohio University Eastern and Belmont County Tourism.  Dennis Fox is in charge of the production and the stories told by “The Ohio Valley Santa”.

Tickets can be purchased in advance on the St. Clairsville Area Chamber of Commerce website www.stcchamber.com, at the office 117 East Main St., St. C., and at the Belmont County Tourism Office located at the Ohio Valley Mall.
