** Special Episode – The Colby Brown Case **
Guests: Scott Mumper and Gwen Wood
It is a case investigators with LEDE News have researched extensively, and Steve Novotney has composed nine chapters for the series, “Suicide? No way” since January 2020.
Colby Brown was 19 years old when he passed away following his first day as a sophomore at Marshall University. The State Police conclude it was suicide, but that conclusion doesn’t add up to his family and friends.
Segment 1-2 – Novotney will be joined by Scott Mumper, a retired federal investigator who served 27 years for the United States Air Force, and the two will dig into the report compiled by a private investigator from the Huntington, W.Va. area … what information does it offer, and what does it not reveal?
Segment 3 – Colby’s mother, Gwen Wood, will join the show via phone to explain her recent efforts to gain as much information as she can concerning her son’s death from the State Police, the private investigators, and from the friends who were the last people to see the young man alive.
Segment 4 – What information is missing? What questions still need answers. We’ll discuss during the final segment of the show the future course of the “Suicide? No Way” series on LEDE.
