Steve Novotney Lives! Ep. #14

Guests: Don Atkinson, James Guy

Former Wheeling councilman Don Atkinson is scheduled to join me to resume our conversation about the direction of the city, recent developments concerning the OVMC campus and three local institutions, the recently announced rate hikes for water-sewer-sanitation services, and how he hopes the federal relief funds can be used once the U.S. Treasury Department issues the options.

I’ll discuss politics with James Guy during the final hour for this week’s “From the Left and From the Right” segment … some of our topics will include the current round of stimulus payments made available by the federal government to local cities, counties, and states, and how those funds should be used … the $1,400 checks most Americans will receive – if they haven’t already – and how U.S. citizens view them … and the ongoing investigation on the attack on the United States Capitol on Jan. 6.
