Doug Giffin, the president of IBEW Local 141, is scheduled to return to “Steve Novotney Lives!” to discuss the proposals offered by members of the West Virginia Legislature and what impact they will have on organized labor in the state.
We will also discuss economic development that is expected to take place this year, and Doug also will offer the latest information on the possible construction of a petrochemical “cracker” plant in Belmont County.
PK Jebbia is a native of the Upper Ohio Valley who is an advocate for families battling childhood cancer. We’ll discuss how he got involved, what he does to raise funds for the families, the realities those mothers and fathers face when their child is diagnosed, and what hopes there are for the federal government to assist far more than what is received at this time.
