Steve Novotney Lives! Ep. #40 – Guests: J.P. Dutton, Danny Swan

Guests: J.P. Dutton, Danny Swan

Belmont County Commissioner J.P. Dutton joins me to discuss the latest moves made by the Commission, and we’ll also discuss the distribution of federal relief funds and the lessons that have been learned during the coronavirus pandemic.

Danny Swann started Grow Ohio Valley by establishing a single community garden along 15th Street in East Wheeling and now the non-profit has blossomed into an organization that operates several facilities in the Wheeling area – including the Public Market on Main Street in downtown.

Danny and I will talk about that growing process, and we’ll also discuss what the future holds as far as the mobile market, expanding access to locally grown produce, and employment opportunities.

“Steve Novotney Lives!” – 3-5 p.m. M-W-F on Facebook Live (go to LEDE News Facebook page) and posted on PandoraSpotifyPodBeanYouTubeAmazon Music/AudibleiHeartRadioPlayerFMApple Podcast (iTunes), and ListenNotes.
