Guests: Sarel Venter and Bekah Karelis, Jon Banco, Billy the Kid

Sarel Venter moved to Wheeling a little more than 10 years ago and he and his Adventures in Elegance crews have renovated and preserved a number of historic buildings in the Upper Ohio Valley. Sarel will join me during the first hour of the show to discuss those projects, the ones he is working on now, and what he sees for the city’s future.

Someone has a birthday today and that someone is our very own Jon Banco! Banco is set to return today for our weekly “Liner Notes” segment to offer his schedules for live entertainment throughout the Upper Ohio Valley.

Performer “Billy the Kid” will join us on the phone to let us know why he is fond of playing in the Wheeling area, what gigs he has scheduled within the region this summer, and we’ll discuss his expectations for this year’s Heritage Bluesfest set for this August.
