Doug Giffin, the president of the IBEW Local 141, will be my guest for the first hour and we’ll cover the reasons for the recent protest in front of the Bethlehem Volunteer Fire Department, the progress being made on the petrochemical “cracker” plant in Beaver County, Pa., the local projects taking place right now, and what is possible in the future.

Former Wheeling councilman Don Atkinson is scheduled to return to the show to share his insights on the progress now being made in the Friendly City, what developments are expected in town, and what he feels needs to take place in all areas and neighborhoods.

Don and I also will discuss the new trends in Wheeling concerning downtown living, private sector development in residential areas, the construction of new housing, and more.
