Lou Vargo, the director of the Wheeling-Ohio County Emergency Management Agency, will join me to discuss a number of different topics, including the immediate need for dispatchers for the 911 Center, the significant increase in positive cases of Covid-19 and the latest vaccination numbers, and the new Streetwise Program.

Lou and I will also talk about the process of gaining approval to be able to dredge creeks and streams in the county to help prevent future flash flooding.

Jon Banco is set to return for the weekly “Liner Notes” segment so he can announce his schedules for live entertainment for the rest of the week and for the weekend.

Musician Josh Garrett will give us a call to reveal his upcoming gigs in the Wheeling area.
