Sunday Funday Concert Series Returns to Oglebay Beginning May 31

WHEELING, W.Va. – Sunday Funday returns to Oglebay Park Resort on Sunday, May 31, bringing live music, family-friendly activities, and summer fun to the Oglebay Amphitheater. Presented by the Elizabeth Stifel Kline Foundation and Expand Energy, the free weekly concert series features an exciting lineup of entertainment continuing through Labor Day weekend.

Festivities begin at 6 PM with live music starting at 7 PM. The opening performance features Eli and the Mojo Kings, kicking off a full summer lineup of regional favorites and tribute bands all season long.

Guests are encouraged to come early and make the most of the day with Oglebay’s 2 for $40 activity wristband special, available Sundays through Wednesdays now through Labor Day. Activity wristbands include access to the outdoor pool, splash pad, mini-golf, Oglebay Good Zoo, aerial course challenge, rock climbing wall, pedal boats and more — giving families countless ways to play and explore before the concert begins.

“Sunday Funday is one of the best ways to experience everything that makes Oglebay special during the summer,” said Bob Peckenpaugh, President and CEO of the Wheeling Park Commission. “Families can spend the day enjoying the park together, grab a bite to eat, and then relax with live music in a beautiful outdoor setting. It’s a fun, welcoming tradition that brings our community together week after week.”
