Martins Ferry held the first reading of an ordinance designed to give East Ohio Hospital, LLC a tax break for its facility. But the three-reading rule, expected to be wave, was not voted upon.
Martins Ferry City Council took the first step in approving the tax break, or repayment, to East Ohio Hospital, LLC in order to help facilitate the purchase of needed upgrades for the former East Ohio Regional Hospital.
