The 19th Hole in Wheeling boasts a ton of flavors of some of the best wings in the Ohio Valley. In this writer's estimation, if Drover's is 1A for wings, the 'Hole' is 1B. They are that good.

St. Clairsville is filled with pizza parlors and shops, each with its own signature item(s). To this writer, the Pizza Shack's French bread pizza and its breadsticks are its feature items, both of which are worth the trip.

Elle and Jack's in Wheeling is a cut above in both quality, atmosphere, and service. It's worth the slight uptick in price range as the food is unequaled anywhere in the Ohio Valley.

The Central Grille in Shadyside has some quality food choices to be had, including an amazing Big Bob burger that features a zesty Tiger Pride sauce that packs just enough heat. It's worth a try by itself.

If Drover's Inn has "lost a step" this fat man doesn't see it, or taste it. Drover's still has the best wings I've tasted in the Upper Ohio Valley and beyond. Oh how I've missed that flavor.

Eden Family Restaurant adds another quality option to a fertile food ground on Wheeling Island. Bonus? They have, in this writer's estimation, the best cheese sticks in the valley, without question.

The Barton Trap may be a bar first, but the kitchen cranks out some incredibly tasty food and it's inexpensive. A suggestion? Try the hangover burger.

Fusion Japanese Steakhouse has a host of great menu options. But the big draw is the hibachi-style dining, with skilled chefs cooking in front of you. It's worth a trip up 2-mile hill to experience ... if you haven't already.

The Panda Chinese Kitchen has been serving Chinese cuisine in Wheeling in some fashion for more than 20 years. That staying power comes from consistency, quality, speed, and affordability. It's worth a try if you've yet to enter its doors.

Market Vines in Wheeling has an extensive list of adult beverages, able to be paired with some delicious items on its menu. The Jack Daniels sauce on the wings is a new favorite.

Fabio's Pizza in the Ohio Valley Mall is a mecca of pizza deliciousness, in addition to a number of other tasty menu items. But you'll want the pizza.
