Wheeling has a recreational gem for dog owners in the Fitzsimmons Family Dog Park. The more than two acres of ground is a haven of exercise and excitement for both two an four-legged park goers.
I know of two locations, one at 98 Peninsula Street, and one in Warwood. I had many friends in my lifetime that worked for Blaw Knox and I have a few photos from the early days during a time when the company made Army tanks.
