Trio said her teachers and staff members care deeply for Madison students, and that care makes the students feel important. She said she believes Madison Elementary School is the “Anchor of the Island.”
The program, which provides season-long pool passes for children in need at Wheeling’s four municipal pools, is an initiative started by Wheeling resident Chip Calissie and his sister, Leigh Ann Koehler.
