Testings Scheduled at Local Universities

The Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department will be holding free COVID-19 Testing Clinics at WLU and WU.  Clinics will be held at:

  • West Liberty University, Academic, Sports and Recreation Complex (main arena floor)
    • August 14th All Staff, Faculty, and on-campus employees from 9:00am to 4:00pm
    • August 15th Group B move in students from 9:00am to 4:00pm
    • August 16th Group A move in students from 9:00am to 4:00pm
    • August 17th Commuter students from 9:00am to 4:00pm
  • Wheeling University, Alma Grace McDonough Center (auxiliary gym)
    • August 18th All Fall sport students and all Staff, Faculty, and on-campus employees from 9:00am-4:00pm
    • August 21st All Freshman students from 9:00am to 4:00pm
    • August 23rd All Returning students from 9:00am to 4:00pm

The clinics are for those associated with WLU and WU.  Students who are taking classes exclusively online and will not be on campus are not being required to be tested.  No insurance is needed.  Participants need to bring a driver’s license, University provided ID, or other proof of address.  All participants need to wear a mask.
