Most people familiar with Wheeling’s history know that Lincoln was the segregated public school in town during Jim Crow. But many remain unaware of the segregated Catholic school.

We’re talking about women who’ve shown up in places they were expected to stay away from and spoken up when they were expected to be still—women who’ve made people uncomfortable in defense of family, community, public health, equity, and common sense.
