Steubenville, Ohio—March 9, 2026 – Trinity Health System, a member of CommonSpirit Health, is proud to announce that Trinity Home Health has been recognized as a Top-Performing U.S. Home Health Agency by U.S. News & World Report.
In its inaugural “Best Home Health” ratings, U.S. News & World Report evaluated more than 12,000 Medicare-certified agencies nationwide. Trinity Home Health is among an elite group of only 1,319 agencies—roughly the top 10 percent—to earn the “High Performing” designation. This rating is reserved for agencies that consistently exceed expectations in patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes.
Darlene Byard, Director of Trinity Home Health, credits this achievement to the collective heart and expertise of her frontline staff.
“The Trinity Home Health Staff is truly amazing and very passionate about the care provided to the patients we serve,” Byard said. “Each and every day the staff goes above and beyond to ensure all patients receive the most appropriate care to help in their healing and help them back on the road to recovery.”
U.S. News & World Report developed these ratings to help prospective patients and their families navigate the complexities of home-based care. The evaluation used data-driven criteria, including:
- Patient outcomes and recovery rates.
- Prevention of unplanned ER visits and hospitalizations.
- Overall quality of clinical instructions and care coordination.
Trinity Home Health’s inclusion in this elite tier highlights the high standard of medical services delivered directly to homes throughout the community, ensuring patients can recover safely and effectively in a familiar environment.
“I am very proud to lead such a remarkable group of individuals,” Byard said. “They show such compassion in all patient interactions while providing the utmost excellent care!”
