Trinity School of Nursing Holds Class of 2024 Commencement

Students were recognized for academic and clinical excellence.

The Trinity Health System School of Nursing held commencement exercises for the Class of 2024 on July 12, 2024.

Rhonda Hatfield DBA, BSN, RN, CCRN, Interim Chief Nursing Officer for Trinity Health System, offered the commencement address.

Several    graduates    were    recognized    for    excellence   in   academic    and   clinical achievements:

  • Felicia B. (pictured left on attached photo montage) received the Dr. Dominic A. Brancazio Memorial Award for Highest Academic Achievement.
  • Emily Rovira (pictured center) of Weirton, West Virginia, received the THS Medical Staff Award for Second Highest Academic Achievement.
  • Emma Settle (pictured right) of Steubenville, Ohio, received the THS Nursing Service Award for Third Highest Academic Achievement.
  • The Dr. Carmel Esposito Community Leadership Award was presented to Emily Rovira.
  • The Nancy Bright, MD Excellence in Pediatrics Award was presented to Aleni Knight of Toronto, Ohio.
  • The Patrick H. Macedonia, MD Excellence in Maternal-Newborn Nursing Award was presented to Emily Rovira.

Other graduates included in the commencement were: Damien Brady, Allison Craft, Kaleigh Edgar, Isabella Hepburn, Kristen Moffo, Gabriella Soplinski, Joseph Walkosky, Cody Waters, and Hannah Wenner.

Students earning academic honors for the Summer Session 2024, with at least a 3.5 Grade Point Average, include:

  • Class of 2024: Felicia B., Isabella Hepburn, Emily Rovira, Emma Settle, and Gabriella Soplinsky
  • Class of 2025: Gioanna Gulan
