Marshall County – On Saturday, September 27, 2026, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call regarding a disturbance at a residence on Allen Hill Road.
Upon arrival, deputies spoke to the caller, H. Allen, who advised that she and J. Woods were inside her residence and that Thomas Allen and James Chambers arrived at her residence, demanding their property back, specifically a chainsaw.
During the incident, Thomas Allen allegedly forced his way into the residence holding a bat, directing threatening remarks toward Allen and Wood. When Wood attempted to exit the shed, he was struck on the shoulder with the bat by Thomas Allen. As James tried to flee for his safety, James Chambers then hit him.
H. Allen attempted to intervene, resulting in her being punched in the stomach by Thomas Allen, who then reportedly pursued James Wood into the woods while making threats to kill him.
Arrest warrants were issued for Thomas Allen and James Chambers for burglary, battery, and conspiracy. Both suspects were arrested shortly after the incident.
