The US 250 northbound off-ramp, located in South Wheeling will be closed beginning at 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2022, and will re-open at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, for road maintenance. Motorists are advised to reduce speed, expect delays, and follow the detour signs.
An alternate route for traffic is Interstate 470 to the 18th Street exit, on to 16th Street, to Chapline Street, and then to the US 250 on-ramp.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
All I know is that the ramp to southbound Rt. 250 from I-70 East just outside the tunnel has some very large potholes (can you call them that when they are that big) that have been there for a long time and nothing has been done to them.
