Current Delegate Bob Fehrenbacher announced today that he would be running for the Republican nomination for State Senate in West Virginia’s Third District. The announcement was made at the Blennerhassett Hotel with family, friends, and local supporters there to encourage the effort.
“My focus as a State Senator will be just like it was in the House of Delegates—economic development and job creation. After a decade of promoting one of the most conservative agendas in the nation, our State Senate took a step backward last year. It’s time we get our state back on track and work on the issues that matter most to the people of West Virginia. We need to focus on creating jobs, fixing our state’s infrastructure, and improving the health and well-being of our people,” said Bob Fehrenbacher.
He continued, “I am proud of my legislative record as I served in leadership roles in energy, manufacturing, and finance, and I am often selected to represent the state as we pursue economic development and job creation. I will continue to be a strong conservative leader in the State Senate. The 3rd State Senate District deserves a leader who is focused on the issues that matter most to our voters.”
Fehrenbacher concluded by saying, “I look forward to running a strong, positive campaign in this year’s primary, and I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to continue to serve the people of West Virginia with integrity and dedication.”
