NEW CUMBERLAND, W.Va. – State Treasurer Larry Pack will visit the Northern Panhandle tomorrow, Friday, February 13, to present substantial unclaimed property checks to Fiesta Tableware Company in Newell, the Hancock County Board of Education in New Cumberland and the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office in Wheeling in three separate events.
Treasurer Pack will join Fiesta Tableware Co. CEO and President Liz McIlvain for a check presentation at 11:15 a.m. Friday at the company headquarters on 672 Fiesta Drive in Newell.
At 2:00 p.m. Friday, Treasurer Pack will join Hancock County Schools Superintendent Walt Saunders for a check presentation. The presentation will be taking place at the board of education at 130 Rockefeller Circle in New Cumberland.
Before the Wheeling Nailers faceoff against the Reading Royals on Friday night at WesBanco Arena, Treasurer Pack will present Sheriff Nelson Croft and the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office with an unclaimed property check on the ice as part of the pregame ceremonies. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:10 p.m.
The check amounts will be disclosed at the presentations.
