(Publisher’s Note: The following article by LEDE News staff member Teran Malone is a prediction piece based on his coverage of the 2020 high school football season in West Virginia.)

As we are nearing the end of the 2020 high school football season across the state of West Virginia, we now take a closer look at what to possibly expect in the next couple of weeks before the Super 6 Championships at Wheeling Island Stadium.

After six years of covering high school sports in West Virginia, I sure hope that we don’t have to see what has taken place over the past couple of months again next season. With hundreds of scenarios on the table it is likely that we will see some new champions being crowned this year on the island.

The following are predictions of the upcoming state tournament:
