Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce to Co-Host 2022 Economic Outlook Conference

The Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce is working together with the Regional Economic Development Partnership (REDP), the West Virginia University John Chambers College of Business and Economics, and McKinley Carter Wealth Services to host the 2022 Economic Outlook Conference on October 20, 2022, at Wheeling Island Hotel Casino Racetrack.

Major sponsors to date include Belmont Savings Bank, Comcast Business, Ohio Valley Community Federal Credit Union, and West Virginia Northern Community College.

The agenda for the event, which kicks off with a breakfast at 7:30 AM, includes two presenters: John Deskins, Ph.D., Assistant Dean of the West Virginia University John Chambers College of Business and Economics, and David H. McKinley, CFP President and Chief Investment Officer of McKinley Carter Wealth Services. Following the keynote presentations, two roundtable discussions will be held on the topics of manufacturing and energy. The half-day event will wrap-up at Noon.

Zende. “The speakers and the roundtable panelists we have lined up will offer great insight into our local, regional,
national and world economy and what we may see in the next year or two.”
