Wheeling Park High School students will get a close look at the exciting opportunities available to them at the school’s annual job fair.
The Wheeling Park Job Fair will be held 10:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Friday (April 16). The event will be held outside to ensure social distancing. Wheeling Park Teen Parent Coordinator/Residential Education Liaison Erin Bowers said businesses will be on hand at the event with displays to show students the jobs open to them over the summer and in the future. She said students will be able to apply for jobs at the fair.
“It’s important for our students to be successful and productive, not only in school, but also in life,” Bowers said. “There were some summer job opportunities for the younger students and job opportunities for the seniors who are getting ready to graduate, too. We scheduled an excellent roster of local businesses to be here, and I can’t thank them enough for taking part in this event.”
The West Virginia Army National Guard, Cabela’s Distribution, First Choice America Community Federal Community Credit Union, Goodwill Industries, Home City Ice, Kroger, McDonald’s, Mountaineer Challenge Academy, Oglebay/Wheeling Park, Sledd Co., Texas Roadhouse, Thomas Burgoyne Investigations, Wendy’s, Wheeling Recreation, West Virginia Vocational Rehabilitation and Youth Services System are scheduled to take part in the Wheeling Park High School Job Fair.
