Wheeling Police to Hold Career Open House on Jan. 31

The Wheeling Police Department will be hosting a career open house for those interested in becoming a police officer next week.

The career open house will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31 at police headquarters – 2115 Chapline Street. You do not need to register for the event, and anyone interested in becoming an officer can stop by to learn more.

Officers and human resources staff will be on hand to answer employment and benefit-related questions and help those interested apply.

Wheeling PD’s next civil service test is set for Saturday, Feb. 17. Applications can be filled out online by visiting wheelingwv.gov/policejobs or calling 304-234-3694.
