A portion of Interstate 70 westbound will be closed through the Wheeling Tunnel, from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., beginning Sunday, March 16, 2025, through Tuesday, March 18, 2025, for tunnel inspection.
Also, the westbound on-ramp, in Fulton, will be closed from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., beginning Sunday, March 16, 2025, through Tuesday, March 18, 2025, and Tuesday, March 25, 2025, and Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
On Wednesday, from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., beginning March 19, 2025, through Monday, March 24, 2025, the eastbound lane will be closed for tunnel inspection. Also, the Market Street on- ramp, in Wheeling, will be closed from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., beginning Wednesday, March 19, 2025, through Monday, March 24, 2025, and Thursday, March 27, 2025.
Work is being done at night to minimize the impact on the traveling public.
Alternate Route: Use Interstate 470.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
