Wheeling’s City Pools Are Open for the Season

WHEELING, W.VA. – Wheeling’s city pools are ready to welcome the community for a summer of fun.

The city’s four pools will be open throughout the summer season with the following schedules: Garden Park in Warwood will be open daily; Bridge Park on Wheeling Island will be closed on Mondays; Grandview in Wheeling Heights will be closed on Tuesdays; and 36th Street in South Wheeling will be closed on Wednesdays. All pools will operate from noon to 6 p.m., weather permitting.

“Our city pools are a summertime staple in Wheeling,” said Rochelle Barry, director of Parks and Recreation. “They offer a safe, welcoming space for families to relax, have fun, and stay active during the warmest months of the year.”

Family Fun Nights will take place from 6-8 p.m. on the following dates at the specified locations: June 12, Garden Park; June 26, 36th Street; July 10, Grandview; and July 24, Wheeling Island.
