West Liberty University invites alumni to join the fun as Hilltoppers gather together for three fan events planned for February and March.
“We invite our alumni to join us as we support our athletic teams this February and March. There will be food, fun and surprises as we network and renew our friendships while enjoying basketball rivalries and more,” said Alumni Relations Director Amanda Bennett, who is an alumna herself, having earned both her undergraduate and MBA at WLU.
First up is a Feb. 25 Alumni Night to be held in the Academic, Sports and Recreation Complex (ASRC) as the Hilltopper basketball teams take on Wheeling University in a much-anticipated rematch.
The women’s team tips-off at 2 p.m. and the men follow at 4 p.m.
Next on the agenda is the Topper Takeover planned for River City Restaurant as the basketball teams play in the Mountain East Conference basketball tournament at WesBanco Arena, March 1 – 5. (See mountaineast.org/tournaments/?id=141)
