WVDOH Announces Pair of Projects in Marshall County

The West Virginia Division of Highways has announced the following projects so local motorists can plan their travel.

FIRST, a portion of US 250 in Glen Dale will have the northbound slow lane closed at milepost 33.13 to 33.25 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. beginning Wednesday, December 7, 2022, through Thursday, December 8, 2022, for a paving project. Motorists are advised to slow down and expect delays. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.

Alternate Routes are County Route 86 and County Route 88.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.

ALSO, Alternate WV 2 (Round Bottom Hill) in Moundsville will be closed for 1.5 miles to the intersection of County Route 88/5 (Lindsay Lane Road) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022, for a tree trimming project.  Motorists should reduce speed and expect delays in this area.

Alternate Routes are County Route 21 (Robert’s Ridge Road) and Alternate WV 2 south of Moundsville to County Route 88/5 (Lindsay Lane Road), and inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
