WVDOH Announces Upcoming Ohio County Projects along I-70, U.S. Route 40

Ohio County, WV – The Interstate 70 eastbound, Exit 5 off ramp shoulder, and the eastbound left lane, near milepost 7.1 in Elm Grove will be closed, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., this Friday, August 28, 2026, for guardrail repair.

Motorists are advised to reduce speed in work areas.

ALSO:

A portion of US 40, National Road near the intersection of County Route 41, Dallas Pike Road in Triadelphia will be restricted to one lane from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., beginning Monday, August 31, 2026, through mid-September, for fiber optic installation.

Traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Motorists are advised to slow down and expect delays.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the schedules of these projects.
