WVDOH Continues Work On, Around I-470 in Ohio County

Ohio County, WV – A portion of Interstate 470 westbound, will have the right lane closed, from milepost 1.0 to milepost 0.0, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, through Friday, October 10, 2025, for bridge maintenance.

Also, the westbound Exit 1 on-ramp will be closed. Work is being done at night to minimize the impact on the traveling public. Traffic directors and message boards will be used to direct traffic.  Motorists are advised to slow down and follow detours.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
