Lane Closures on WV 2, Southbound, in Moundsville, in place until September 14, 2026
Marshall County, WV – A portion of WV 2, southbound, in Moundsville, will have alternating lane closures from milepost 19.30 to milepost 18.87 through Monday, September 14, 2026, for road maintenance.
Traffic signs will maintain traffic. Motorists are advised to slow down and expect delays.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.

Road Closure on County Route 48, Irish Ridge Road, to Begin Friday, September 11, 2026
Marshall County, WV – A portion of County Route 48 (Irish Ridge Road), from milepost 10.38 to milepost 10.73, will be closed from 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, through 6:00 a.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026, for a culvert installation. Work is being done at night to minimize the impact on the traveling public.
Traffic will be maintained by traffic control signs. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route.
Alternate Routes: Use US 250 or County Route 48 (Dry Ridge Road) or County Route 48 (Lone Oak Road).
