West Virginia Northern Community College (WVNCC) will host a Virtual Open House Week on Zoom for prospective students and their families to learn about programs, the admissions process, financial aid, student activities and more. The event will take place April 5-9 from 4-6 p.m. daily and on Saturday, April 10 from 9 a.m. – noon. Anyone who attends one of the virtual Open House events will be eligible to win a $1,000 scholarship to WVNCC.

Each day during the week different programs offered by WVNCC will be featured:

  • Monday, April 5 – Business, Science and Computer Information Technology
  • Tuesday, April 6 – Healthcare
  • Wednesday, April 7 – Liberal Arts and Transfer programs
  • Thursday, April 8 – Applied Technology and Culinary Arts
  • Friday, April 9 – Criminal Justice, Education & Human Services

If anyone is unable to attend any of these events during the week or just want to learn more, on Saturday, April 10, they can also drop in to learn about their program of interest and meet with representatives to ask questions about the admission process, student life, financial aid, scholarships and more. Also on this day, WVNCC will be hosting a limited number of on-campus tours for anyone who schedules in advance.

Classes for the fall semester begin August 23, 2021. During the virtual event prospective students can learn how to apply and register for classes. Applications are available online at www.wvncc.edu.
