West Liberty University Selects New Leadership in Fiscal Affairs

West Liberty University recently selected Lori Hudson as its Vice President of Fiscal Affairs.

Hudson serves on the President’s Cabinet and oversees the business office which includes 12 employees.

“I am pleased to be a part of the West Liberty University community, and am excited to partner with faculty, staff, and students in my new role to support their goals and initiatives,” said Hudson.

A resident of Bellaire, Ohio, Hudson has extensive knowledge in finance, budgeting and administration.

Prior to her joining WLU, she served as controller and acting vice president and chief financial officer at Wheeling University, where she was employed in various management roles for 25 years.  

Hudson earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Wheeling Jesuit University. She and her husband Scott are the parents of two adult sons, Logan and Cody.

Also joining the university in the business office as Accounts Payable Manager is Traci Closser of Washington, Pa.

Prior to this, she was a tax manager at Sisterson and Company, LLP in downtown Pittsburgh for 13 years. She is a Certified Public Accountant.

Closser earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Waynesburg University. She and her husband Travis are the parents of two high school students, Garrett and Sara.
